ER11 Collet Installation
- Insert the groove of the spring collet into the eccentric ring inside the nut.
- Push the collet in the direction of the arrow until you hear a click — this indicates the collet is properly seated in the nut.
- Insert the tool (drill bit, end mill, etc.) into the collet. Make sure it is fully seated and straight.
- Screw the nut with the collet onto the spindle or chuck body, then tighten it securely using an ER11M wrench.
ER11 Collet Removal
- Unscrew the nut with the collet from the spindle or chuck body.
- Remove the cutting tool from the collet.
- To release the collet from the nut, press the front of the collet inward while gently tilting it at an angle.
- Push against the eccentric ring until the collet pops out of the nut.
