Raise or lower the entire drill head along the rigid 18 mm (0.71 in) steel column. Up to 150 mm (5.91 in) spindle-to-base clearance provides the flexibility to work with different workpiece heights, vises, and fixtures.

The included aluminum-alloy Round Worktable can be raised, lowered, and rotated 360° around the column. Use it together with the main base to create two working positions and quickly switch between workpieces without rebuilding your setup.

The MYLXON IN-778 is the next generation of our precision mini drill press, designed for applications where accuracy, flexibility, and compact size are equally important.

Building on the proven design of the IN-776, the IN-778 introduces a new lifting-column system, a larger drill head with increased body length, a stronger 18 mm (0.71 in) steel column, and a new 360° adjustable round worktable.

The lifting mechanism allows the entire drill head to move vertically along the column, making it easy to accommodate workpieces, vises, fixtures, and accessories of different heights. At the same time, the independent round worktable can be raised, lowered, rotated around the column, or moved completely out of the working area.

With a 200–5,000 RPM brushless motor, synchronous belt drive, 19 mm (0.75 in) spindle travel, and a choice between a versatile Universal Precision Chuck and an ultra-low-runout ER11M spindle, the IN-778 is designed for precision drilling across a wide range of materials, including aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, silver, gold, tin, zinc and other soft non-ferrous metals, as well as wood, plastics, acrylic, PCB materials, and composites. Steel up to 3 mm (0.12 in) thick can also be drilled when using appropriate carbide or other specialized drill bits. For delicate precision work, the machine can make a micro holes  from 0.1 mm (0.004 in) and achieve positioning accuracy of up to 0.01 mm (0.0004 in) when used with a suitable precision vise or XY positioning table. It is ideal for jewelry making, watch repair, electronics and PCB work, model building, engraving, musical instrument making and repair, and other detailed workshop applications.
